GLOW Lingual provides online English learning programs designed for students ages 3-17 years old. Students of all English levels and abilities are welcome here. From a first time speaker with zero English background to an advanced learner, our teachers will help develop the BEST version of your child!

At GLOW Lingual, a holistic approach to language learning is considered the core of our educational design. Holistic language teaching takes into account each learners’ personal, social and professional growth in addition to their linguistic development. And because we believe the best way for a child to learn a new language is with the ability to handle both their language skills as well as maximizing their life skills, holistic learning enables just that!

Our teaching method of an “active learning style” incorporates diverse teaching techniques to match with the unique learning styles of our students. These include Total Physical Response, Gamification, Interactive Learning, Flipped Classrooms and many more.

Our live lessons take place online, enabling your child to interact with their teachers in real-time. Students are encouraged to attend 2-3 classes per week for best results. Students will get to practice all key skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) based on the unit theme and topics. There are no tests! Teachers complete observations and unit assessments to continuously adjust the course according to students’ progress. Parents are also provided with detailed feedback after every lesson from teachers.

Each lesson at GLOW Lingual is designed for 25 minutes depending on students’ age and level. Several research and scientific studies show that this is the optimal time for children to concentrate and gain effective learning outcomes. If you or the teacher think that your child is ready, 2 consecutive classes may be scheduled for a 50 minute class.

Our teachers will use mixed-methods of teaching to help your child to understand English from zero! Students will first be introduced to English through a variety of pictures and activities while teachers use words, gestures and props to help make important connections between sounds and words. Teachers will use modeling techniques for students to repeat the language accurately. Students can quickly start to understand the material without translation!

For young learners ages 3-6, we encourage parents to accompany your child during the first few classes. This is to help your child to familiarize with the learning routines and be their moral support.
