Intermediate Powers
Levels 4 & 5 (Intermediate Glowers) are tailored for children who already have a head-start in English and are ready to expand their vocabulary, study advanced grammar and explore exciting topics! The levels deliver new opportunities for students to learn a variety of subjects, such as science, geography, history and literature. Students will be able to take an A1-A2 exam (YLE Movers) after completing Level 5.
Students will be able to:
- Hold a conversation using longer phrases and short sentences
- Talk about topics such as: myself, daily routines, school topics, places, hobbies and celebrations
- Speak about past events and make comparison statements
- Identify key information in short, simple texts
- Understand personal & family values, managing own emotions and build confidence
- Read and use 700+ new words
